In 1983, Esperanza awarded its first scholarship, a gift of $200, to a local Cleveland high-school student. In the 25 years since, thousands of Hispanics and greater-Clevelanders have had their lives changed by the generosity of donors and the still-expanding programs of Esperanza, Inc.

Students of all ages benefit from Esperanza's work, from children, to adults, to seniors. And to better serve our community, we are launching campaign25, a three-year effort to establish an endowment fund that will help support three key initiatives in our goal to promote Hispanic education and opportunity:

Sustainability: Secure long-term funding to maintain current programs.

Expansion: Develop new programs providing the ability to guide children from early development to college.

Endowment: Grow the William Senquiz scholarship fund to ensure our ongoing ability to grant scholarships.

campaign25 allows donors to make a three-year commitment to support our endowment fund and make a lasting contribution to the Hispanic community in Greater Cleveland.
